We are thrilled that Chantal Mancini’s doctoral dissertation on the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, which she defended in 2023, has won the Canadian Committee on Labour History / Canadian Historical Association’s Eugene Forsey Prize, which honours the best graduate work in Canadian labour and working-class history. This is a prize given by the Canadian Committee on Labour History / Canadian Historical Association to honour the best graduate work in Canada on Canadian Labour and Working-Class history. Eugene Forsey was a prominent member of the CCF in its early days and was the Canadian Labour Congress’ research director for many years.
