Part of the School of Labour Studies Speaker Series 2024-25, this webinar features research supported by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives on the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on women and takes an intersectional approach to understanding how this impact has been experienced differently by various groups of women in the Canadian economy. The presenters take stock of the ongoing burdens that women are bearing and point to the urgent need to create a more just economy.
