Summer Transition Program

Indigenous Services: Summer Transition Program

We hope you will consider participating in this great opportunity to meet Indigenous Faculty and the Indigenous Services staff, and to become familiar with the campus and the Hamilton community.

The Transition Program runs in August. Date TBA.

  • Become acquainted with the library (accessing electronic resources, citing your sources, and other critical skills to get you started!)
  • Meet with Academic Advisors to learn about important deadline dates, degree progression, and much more!
  • Spend time with our Elders-In-Residence who will also be available to you throughout the school year for guidance and support, and
Participate in fun social activities and get to know other new students who will be beginning their studies at McMaster in the Fall.

Not only will this program be beneficial for your transitional experience, but Indigenous Services is also able to provide you with an honorarium for participating in the program.

We will also cover your meals and accommodations for the three days/two nights that you spend on campus.

Participants are responsible for their own travel to/from McMaster.

Space is limited for this program
